Job summary

Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd partners with a major UK contractor to place a CSA Project Director for a flagship project based in Somerset. You will own the delivery of major CSA packages from pre-construction through handover, leading multi-disciplinary teams and engaging the client and suppliers to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering major CSA packages for a main contractor.
• Senior project leadership experience (Project Director/Construction Director).
• Strong civil, structural and/or architectural construction knowledge.
• Experience delivering large-scale, technically complex construction projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage major subcontract packages.
• Strong commercial, contractual and programme awareness.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of major CSA packages.
• Lead construction teams across civil, structural and architectural disciplines.
• Manage Senior Project Managers, Construction Managers, Package Managers and engineering teams.
• Own programme, commercial performance, quality, safety and project delivery.
• Drive project from pre-construction and procurement through construction and handover.
• Manage major subcontractors and ensure performance against requirements.
• Work with MEP, design, commercial, planning and commissioning leadership.
• Build relationships with client, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Identify risks early and make fast, commercial decisions.
• Report to senior leadership on project performance.
• Develop project team and identify future leaders.
