Job summary

Apex Resources Limited is seeking a Crusher Operator/Screener in Derby, UK to operate crushing and screening equipment. You will ensure efficient material processing, maintain safety standards, and support productive operations in a fast-paced environment.

Role requires CPCS/NPORS with CSCS and PPE; start ASAP for a 5-6 week contract at £24/hour. On-site work with hands-on mechanical duties and logging of activity.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS/NPORS with CSCS logo and PPE.
• Experience operating crushing/screening equipment is preferred.
• Awareness of safety protocols and site PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate crusher and screener to process materials per specs.
• Inspect and maintain equipment for safety and performance.
• Coordinate loads with trucks or excavators as needed.
• Monitor quality and adjust settings for specs.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.

Duties

• Operate crusher and screener machinery to process various raw materials according to project specifications
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Coordinate with team members to load, unload, and transport materials using appropriate vehicles such as trucks or excavators
• Monitor material quality and adjust equipment settings as needed to meet quality standards
• Follow safety protocols diligently, including wearing proper PPE and adhering to site safety procedures
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate logs of equipment operation, material throughput, and maintenance activities

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Rate: £24.00 per hour

Duration: 5-6 weeks work
