Job summary

V.Group is seeking Oilers to join the cruise vessel CRYSTAL SERENITY on a temporary cross-Red Sea contract. Embarkation is 20/April and disembarkation is 06/May. The role involves lubrication of bearings, assisting propulsion systems, and routine engine room tasks in a safety-focused, shipboard environment.

Ideal candidates hold STCW 95 and ASE A-III/5, have basic mechanical knowledge, and prior vessel experience. English fluency is essential for operation and safety communications aboard."

Qualifications

• STCW 95 certification is required.
• ASE A-III/5 certification is required.
• Basic knowledge of vessel machinery operation and maintenance.
• Experience on ships in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stand engine watch as instructed by the Staff Engineer.
• Inspect machinery spaces and report deficiencies promptly.
• Monitor controls and logs for temperatures, pressures, and oil levels.
• Assist with engine room maintenance, repairs, and overhauls.
