Job summary

Azamara is seeking several Wiper positions for a short-term Dry Dock Riding Team aboard the AZAMARA QUEST. The contract is 1 month with embarkation on 31 October 2026. You will perform cleaning, painting and general engine room maintenance under the Engine Department.

Requirements include valid STCW and Engine Watch Rating certificates, good mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work in a shipboard environment. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid STCW 95 certification.
• Valid Engine Watch Rating certification A-III/4.
• Good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, operation and maintenance of vessel machinery.
• Experience with stripping engines down and rebuilding.
• Experience on vessels in an equivalent position.
• Physically and medically fit.
• Moral integrity is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and painting of various machinery, equipment and engine room spaces.
• Assists Engineers and superior ratings with engine overhauls, pumps, welding, lathe operations and pipe fittings.
• Continuously supervises and inspects machinery spaces and reports deficiencies to the Staff Engineer.
