Job summary

Mystic Cruises seeks an experienced 3rd Officer to join the cruise vessel Vasco Da Gama. Embarkation 08 November 2026. Requires STCW95, CoC A-II/1, and strong English.

You will maintain safe navigational watch, support the Safety and Navigation Officers, and ensure compliance with safety procedures aboard a multinational crew. Contract position with rotation as per company policy. Duties include monitoring bridge operations, training, and efficient incident reporting in line with ISM/solas

Qualifications

• Valid STCW95 certification.
• Valid CoC A-II/1.
• Appropriate certification as required by regulations.
• Knowledge of navigational charts and publications.
• Physically and medically fit.
• Coast Guard/Port State Control experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe navigational watch on the bridge.
• Assist Safety Officer and Navigation Officer as instructed.
• Lead watch operations and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Observe meteorological and tidal conditions; monitor bridge equipment.
• Record and report watch observations and equipment status.
