Job summary

V.Group is seeking an experienced 2nd Officer to join the Marella Explorer on a contract basis. You will maintain a safe navigational watch on the bridge and support the Safety Officer and Navigation Officer as required.

The role requires STCW95 certification, CoC A-II/1, and strong English communication. You will work within a diverse onboard team and report to the Captain and Chief Navigator.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as 2nd Officer on passenger/cruise vessels.
• Strong command of English, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe navigational watch on the bridge while at sea, in port or at anchor.
• Assist and support Safety Officer and Navigation Officer as directed.
• Lead and supervise deck watch and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
