Job summary

VGroup seeks an experienced 3rd Officer to join the cruise vessel VASCO DA GAMA with embarkation on 08 November 2026. You will maintain the navigational watch, support Safety and Navigation Officers, and ensure safety compliance on board.

Fluent English, STCW95, CoC A-II/1 and relevant regulations are required for this role. The position reports to the Captain and Navigation Officer, with responsibilities on duty shifts across sea, port, and anchorage conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid STCW95 certification is mandatory.
• Valid CoC A-II/1 is required.
• Appropriate certification as required by regulations.
• Strong English communication skills are essential on board.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe navigational watch on the bridge while at sea, at anchor and in port.
• Assist Safety and Navigation Officers as directed by Master or Staff Captain.
• Follow Company policies and international standards for safety and operation.
• Engage effectively with crew and guests, leading by example in health and safety.
