Job summary

First Response Group is recruiting for a Crowd Safety role at a major football and events venue near Watford. You will work front-of-house, stay professional, and help ensure safety while delivering excellent spectator service.

You will patrol internal and external areas, respond to incidents, support stewards, enforce rules, and liaise with control room and emergency services, with a strong emphasis on communication and situational awareness.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence required.
• Level 2 Spectator Safety Certificate required.
• Previous experience in event or crowd safety security preferred.
• Confident verbal communication skills essential.
• Strong situational awareness and decision-making ability expected.

Responsibilities

• Conducting patrols of internal and external areas.
• Responding to incidents including disorder, medical situations and emergencies.
• Supporting stewards with crowd management when required.
• Enforcing venue rules and safety procedures.
• Liaising with supervisors, control room and emergency services.
• Completing incident reports accurately and on time.

You will help create a safe and positive environment for spectators while supporting event operations from arrival through to departure.
