Job summary

Radwell International in Newcastle-under-Lyme is seeking a Warehouse Operative – Cross Functional to join a hardworking Inventory & Logistics team. You will support daily warehouse duties, help maintain accuracy, and contribute to efficient, safe operations.

Qualifications

• Strong awareness of Health & Safety regulations and procedures.
• Good computer skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Relevant experience in a similar role or transferable skills.
• Ability to handle manual tasks including frequent walking, kneeling and reaching.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all areas of the Inventory & Logistics department as needed, including maintaining cleanliness.
• Pick and prepare items according to order requirements for internal and external customers from the small parts area.
• Maintain inventory & asset stock in the small parts area by conducting regular stock counts and checks.
• Record stock levels in warehouse management systems through cycle counts; primarily in the small parts area.
• Assist in stock rotation, consolidation and inventory movements where required.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or conveyor belts.
• Unload deliveries and check them against purchase orders.
• Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues.
• Sort, label, and store incoming goods in designated areas.
• Prepare goods for invoicing, packing and shipment.
• Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Assist in preparing documentation for shipment of goods.
• Safely load and unload goods from vehicles.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Identify and report any potential safety issues or risks.
