Job summary

The Lodestar Academy in Torquay is seeking a Cross-Curricular Teacher to deliver an ambitious, adaptive curriculum that meets the diverse needs of our students. You will foster confidence, resilience and independence while preparing learners for further education, training and employment.

You will teach across curriculum areas in a small-school environment, deliver engaging differentiated lessons, act as a form tutor, and champion for young people.

Qualifications

• Area qualified teacher with a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people.
• Experience in Alternative Provision, SEND, SEMH or mainstream education.
• Ability to work in a setting focused on personal development and wellbeing.
• Comfort with balancing care with high expectations.
• Willingness to contribute to a small-school community.
