Job summary

Lodestar Academy in Torbay is seeking a dedicated Cross-Curricular Teacher to deliver an ambitious curriculum for 11-18 students in Alternative Provision. You will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons and act as a form tutor, supporting attendance, wellbeing and personal development.

As a Cross-Curricular Teacher, you will deliver an ambitious and adaptive curriculum that meets the academic, social, emotional and behavioural needs of our students. You will create learning experiences that build confidence, resilience, independence and personal success while preparing students for further education, employment and training.

You will:

• Have experience working in Alternative Provision, SEND, SEMH or mainstream education.

• Can balance unwavering care with consistently high expectations.
• Are reflective, resilient and solution-focused.
