Job summary

JD.COM is seeking an experienced iOS Engineer to drive architecture design, feature development and version iterations for our cross-border e-commerce app. You will enhance product browsing, cart, checkout, membership and push notifications while ensuring stability and performance across UK/European markets.

You will collaborate with product, testing and backend teams to deliver high-quality releases, support localization, and align with App Store guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of native iOS development experience; e-commerce or retail app experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/SE or related field.
• Fluent in English, able to collaborate cross-functionally as a working language.
• Familiar with App Store release processes and iOS security/compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirement reviews, technical solution design, code development and unit testing for the iOS application.
• Lead iOS architecture optimisation, performance tuning, crash rate management and package size optimisation.
• Integrate with backend APIs, debug features jointly, ensuring data interaction security and stability.
• Respond quickly to production issues and ensure a smooth user experience across releases.
• Support European localisation needs, including multi-language, multi-currency and payment method adaptations.
