Job summary

ASOS in the United Kingdom is seeking an iOS Engineer to join our Product Development teams and deliver world-class mobile experiences at scale. You will build features using Swift for iPhone and iPad, collaborating with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to shape user-friendly solutions.

You'll work in an agile, cross-functional environment focused on quality, performance and accessibility, taking ownership of code and contributing to architectural discussions as we scale our mobile

Qualifications

• Experience building iOS apps using Swift and core iOS frameworks.
• Proficient with Xcode, Interface Builder and Auto Layout to create responsive UIs.
• Familiar with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and design principles.
• Knowledge of common software design patterns and architecture concepts.
• Commitment to writing clear, maintainable code and improving codebases.
• Experience building apps for iPhone and iPad screen sizes.
• Familiarity with unit testing and contributing to test coverage.
• Experience with UI automation tools, or willingness to learn them.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to shape and deliver customer-focused solutions.

• Take ownership of your work while contributing ideas that improve our products, engineering practices and overall platform.
• Support code quality, maintainability, performance and accessibility to ensure a consistently excellent user experience.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and helping evolve our mobile platform as we continue to scale.
