Job summary

ADAS is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Crop Pathology Consultant based at the ADAS Gleadthorpe office near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. You should have a background in biological sciences, crop pathology, agriculture or agronomy and experience in applied crop disease research.

The role offers opportunities to develop your own research ideas, lead consultancy projects, coordinate cross-team work and engage with clients while contributing to ADAS's profile in the plant pathology community.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level with relevant industry experience; MSc/PhD in crop pathology desirable.
• Excellent project management skills across internal groups and external organisations.
• Clear presenting style and strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate arable crop pathology projects across ADAS teams, delivering input into consultancy and research with milestones and reports.
• Develop ideas into sound projects with the crop pathology team for a range of clients.
• Contribute to the sales process and build links with current and new clients, representing ADAS.
• Establish profile and reputation within and outside ADAS by presenting research at events and conferences.
