Job summary

Socomec Group is seeking a Field Engineer in the United Kingdom to install, commission, and service UPS and power systems for clients, including data centres. You will diagnose issues, collaborate on tailored solutions, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, delivering reliable critical power services.

Ideal candidates have an electrical engineering background, relevant field service experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Strong background in electrical or electronic engineering.
Engineering education in Electrical Engineering.
Proven experience in field service, critical power, or data centre environments.
Hands-on expertise in UPS systems, power electronics, or similar technologies.
Proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, and maintain Socomec’s electrical and power systems (UPS, energy storage, critical power).
Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with clients to provide tailored power solutions.
Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards while exceeding performance benchmarks.
