Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working alongside technical experts dedicated to making an impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical tasks to support the nation's infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). This role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station System Technician responsibilities include:

  • Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Attending planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
  • Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
  • Utilising field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
  • Liaising with Telent Service Centre for tasking and fault updates

Ideal candidate:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who can multi-task and enjoy learning. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail health & safety procedures is beneficial.

Key requirements:

  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Understanding of O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Availability to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre
