Job summary

Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Band 6 nurse for its Critical Care service. You will lead assessments, develop and evaluate care plans, and supervise learners while supporting the ward team.

You will contribute to safe staffing, cross-site collaboration, and a positive learning culture, delivering evidence-based nursing care and high standards of professional practice.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (Adult / General Level 1 or 2).
• Post graduate Critical Care Qualification.
• Mentorship qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
• Act as named care provider for a defined group of patients.
• Lead on organisation and management of clinical activity within the ward.
