Join Our Critical Care Team as a Healthcare Support Worker

Are you looking to become part of a strong, cohesive nursing team within the Critical Care environment?

We currently have vacancies in our Specialist Intensive Care Unit at Churchill Hospital (CICU) and Oxford Critical Care (OCC). We seek enthusiastic, motivated, and dynamic individuals to join our friendly team and help deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Role Responsibilities

• Prioritize and contribute to maintaining high standards of care for patients, families, and carers in a safe and supportive environment under the supervision of a registered practitioner.
• Assist in developing and maintaining services provided to patients.
• Contribute to the safe, efficient, and smooth operation of the ward/clinical area, respecting patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.

Work in a nationally renowned centre for specialties such as Trauma, Vascular Surgery, Cancer & Haematology, Maxillofacial Surgery, and one of Europe's largest transplant centres.

Our newly built, state-of-the-art critical care facility features 48 beds across three floors, offering a patient-centered holistic care model in a bright, airy, and modern environment designed to support staff wellbeing.

Training and Support

This role will mainly be based at The Churchill Intensive Care Unit (CICU) at Churchill Hospital, with rotations between CICU and OCC at John Radcliffe Hospital.
