Main duties of the job:
As a member of the Critical Care team, the healthcare support worker must be able to prioritize and contribute to the delivery of high standards of care to patients, families, and their carers in a safe and supportive environment under the direction of a registered practitioner. As part of the wider team, the healthcare support worker will assist in developing and maintaining services provided to patients and contribute to the safe, efficient, and smooth running of the ward/clinical area/department, maintaining the dignity and privacy of all patients and their families and carers, and respecting their right to confidentiality at all times.
