Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester is looking for an experienced Critical Care Nurse to join the Oncology Critical Care Unit as a Practice Education Facilitator. You will lead the development, delivery and evaluation of educational programmes to support workforce development and service excellence.

You will work closely with the Matron, Lead Nurse and multidisciplinary teams, promoting evidence-based practice, innovation and continual improvement while supporting induction,

Qualifications

NMC registration and current nursing practice standards.
Experience in critical care or oncology settings.
Ability to lead education programmes and preceptorship.
Commitment to evidence-based practice and quality improvement.
Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Lead development, delivery and evaluation of education for OCCU staff.
Coordinate induction, preceptorship and ongoing staff development.
Collaborate with the Critical Care Skills Institute and external education providers.
