Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester is inviting applications for a Clinical Fellow in Anaesthesia and Critical Care. The post is based on the Oncology Critical Care Unit (OCCU) and supports the hospital's cancer care services.

You will join a busy team including consultants, SAS doctors, fellows and trainees, with opportunities for clinical governance, teaching and national/local research projects.

Qualifications

• Must have completed Foundation programmes (or equivalent).
• Experience in emergency medicine, surgery or anaesthesia training at core level preferred.
• Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice with the GMC at start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior input to the OCCU and support Cardiac Arrest, Outreach and Acute Pain Teams.
• Contribute to teaching and training of resident doctors and medical students.
• Engage in audit, research and quality improvement activities within the cancer services.
