Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Liaison Mental Health Nurse to join the STAR Team. You will work with a Band 6 clinician to triage and assess young people in crisis presenting to the emergency department, contributing to assessments, care planning and brief interventions for young people and their families.

Qualificações

• RMN / RN (Mental Health) or RNLD registration or awaiting registration
• Degree in relevant subject

Responsabilidades

• Conduct assessments, plan and evaluate nursing care for young people in crisis.
• Help triage and assess individuals presenting to the emergency department.
• Ensure needs of children, young people and families are met with effective interventions.
• Maintain accurate records related to assessments and care provided.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-standard brief crisis interventions.
