Prometheus Safe & Secure is a specialist provider of secure patient transport and enhanced observation services for people with mental health needs. Operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week across the UK, we work in partnership with the NHS and private healthcare providers to deliver safe, dignified and compassionate support when it is needed most.

The team delivers crisis intervention, safe patient transfers and places of safety services, always prioritising professionalism, empathy and patient

Qualifications

• Respond calmly and confidently to challenging situations and emergencies.
• Follow safeguarding policies and procedures to protect vulnerable adults and children.
• Promote positive professional relationships built on respect, teamwork, equality and inclusion.

Responsabilités

• Respond calmly and confidently to challenging situations and emergencies.
• Use effective communication and approved de-escalation techniques to reduce distress and maintain safety.
• Follow safeguarding policies and procedures to protect vulnerable adults and children.
• Drive company ambulances when required, ensuring safe, comfortable and timely journeys.
• Complete pre-journey vehicle and equipment checks to maintain operational readiness.
• Complete accurate patient documentation and contribute to comprehensive clinical handovers, including relevant risks and current presentations.
• Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues and partner healthcare organisations to support continuity of care.
• Promote positive professional relationships built on respect, teamwork, equality and inclusion.
• Attend mandatory training, team meetings and professional reviews to maintain and develop your skills.
• Adhere to Prometheus policies, safeguarding procedures and relevant healthcare legislation.
• Maintain high standards of confidentiality, professionalism and accountability throughout every shift.
