Job summary

Moxie People is seeking an Early Intervention Worker in Newport to deliver rapid safety planning and short-term support to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse within a multi-agency Domestic Abuse Unit.

You will carry out holistic risk assessments, coordinate with police, housing providers, safeguarding and health partners, and provide trauma-informed care in a PIE environment, with on-call duties and a standard Mon-Fri schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience with VAWDASV, risk assessments and multi-agency support.
• Housing-focused homelessness prevention knowledge.
• Ability to write clear assessments.

Responsibilities

• Crisis response and safety planning within 24 hours.
• Conduct holistic risk assessments and create safety plans.
• Deliver early interventions to prevent homelessness.
• Collaborate with police, housing providers, safeguarding, health and VAWDASV partners.
• Provide emergency accommodation access and participate in on-call rota.
• Deliver trauma-informed care in a PIE environment.
