CHR's Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) in Windsor, CT is seeking a Crisis Clinician to rapidly assess and intervene with adults in crisis, often co-responding with law enforcement. The role emphasizes safety planning, community-based care, and de-escalation.

Qualifications

• Masters in Social Work or related field
• LPCA/LMFTA/LMSW licensure; associate license required; full license preferred
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure with clarity, judgment and compassion
• Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Completes crisis assessments of adults in crisis with safety planning; co-response with law enforcement.
• Develops treatment plans utilizing community-based health, behavioral health, and social services to ameliorate the presenting crisis.
• Maintains an inclusive and equitable work environment and fortifies client strengths.
• Engages with clients and support networks to promote discharge planning and natural supports.
• Documents ongoing client progress and maintains client/staff records per policy.
