Puro Associates in London is seeking a proactive and experienced criminal solicitor to manage complex criminal defence matters from police stations to trial. The role requires flexibility to attend police stations outside normal hours and progress towards Duty Solicitor qualification within 12 months.

An established legal practice is looking for a proactive and experienced Solicitor with experience managing complex criminal cases.

Police Station Accreditation is desirable, and the successful candidate must be willing to attend police stations outside normal working hours on occasion. Duty Solicitor qualification is also desirable, although candidates willing to work towards this within the first 12 months will be considered.

The role is based in London, with hybrid working available following successful completion of the training period.

• Duty Solicitor qualification, or willingness to undertake the relevant Magistrates' Court qualification within the first 12 months.
• Police Station Accreditation desirable.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload in a high-pressure environment.
• Commitment to criminal defence work.
• Confidence in developing professional relationships with court staff, counsel and the Crown Prosecution Service.

Salary and Benefits

Salary: £55,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
