We are looking to expand further in the Midlands and are currently seeking to recruit a Criminal Paralegal to join our team in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities

• Litigating Crown Court files and providing expert advice to clients facing charges in the Crown Court.
• Representing own and duty solicitor clients at the police station.
• Manage a varied caseload involving general crime, including offences such as Burglary, Robbery, sexual offences, and fraud.
• Prepare legal arguments, brief counsel (in house an at chambers) and liaise with counsel on case progression and strategy.
• Draft legal documents, interview witnesses, and prepare case files to a high professional standard.
• Ensure all file handling is compliant with firm policies, LAA regulations, and SRA standards.
• Liaise effectively with clients, and external agencies to progress cases efficiently.
