After completing an initial induction period, the successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of contentious criminal law and prosecution matters. Responsibilities include conducting court advocacy, providing legal advice, preparing and presenting cases in court, and reviewing evidence, case files, and charging decisions.
This position is open to qualified Solicitors and Barristers with a valid practising certificate in England and Wales, who have resided in the UK for at least five years. Ideally, applicants will have two years' experience in criminal law or contentious regulatory prosecutions, coupled with a genuine enthusiasm or a strong willingness to learn. The role demands excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and confident decision-making abilities.
