With You in Wandsworth is seeking a Recovery Worker to provide high-quality support to adults facing substance misuse challenges. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored care plans and interventions, helping clients progress on their recovery journey.

The role is fixed-term for 12 months, 37.5 hours per week, 09:00–17:00, in London with Inner London Weighting included and a starting salary of £30,250 plus £4,000 ILW.

Job description

As a Recovery Worker you will be providing support and advice to people who are experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse. You will be working within a highly skilled and knowledgeable multi-disciplinary team who will support you in your development and your ability to deliver the best care you can to our clients.

Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. You’ll work with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to guide them on their path to recovery. This is an integral role for With You - as a frontline worker, you will deliver continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, delivery of interventions and key work responsibilities.

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months. You will be working 37.5 hours per week between 09:00 - 17:00.

We are looking for positive and motivated candidates who are able to communicate with a wide range of people. You will also be organised with excellent time management skills.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have some experience of working in a health, social care, or related setting
  • Have some experience of delivering services in a community setting
  • Have knowledge and understanding of delivering evidence-based interventions
  • Have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues alike
  • Be resilient under pressure and able to prioritise your work
  • Able to be flexible with your working hours on occasion and be happy to support other With You locations when needed
