Job summary

Change Grow Live is seeking a Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator to assess and engage service users across Widnes and Runcorn, ensuring access to appropriate interventions. You will work under the Criminal Justice Team Leader, delivering intensive case management and psychosocial support to reduce reoffending and aid community reintegration.

The role requires experience with substance misuse, excellent communication, and collaboration with probation and police partners.

  • Support Community Order treatments including DRR, ATR, RAR, IOM cohorts and Test on Arrest.
  • Deliver holistic psychosocial interventions to engage service users.
  • Collaborate with National Probation Service, Court and Prison teams.
  • Promote harm minimisation and social reintegration into the community.

We have an exciting opportunity for aCriminal JusticeRecovery Coordinatorwho has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs. With this role you will beworking across the Widnes and Runcorn area.

Location: HaltonHours: Full Time, 37.5 hrs per week

Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

About the role:

Reporting to the Criminal Justice Team Leader, you will have responsibility for providing intensive assessment and case management services to a caseload of offenders with complex needs. You will have group facilitation experience to support the successful desistance from offending Programme Foundations of Rehabilitation.

An exceptional and experienced case manager is required to support the Community Order Treatment Requirements of those service users involved in the Criminal Justice System, including:

  • DRR (Drug Rehabilitation Requirements)
  • ATR (Alcohol Treatment Requirements)
  • RAR (Rehabilitation Action Requirements)
  • IOM (Integrated Offender Management) cohort engaging with Police Services, Probation and CGL in the Community.
  • Test on Arrest Programme
  • Service users released from prison back into the community setting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Holistic Support: Engage with our service users through psychosocial interventions to help them reduce disengagement, harm, and associated criminal activity.
  • Comprehensive Care: Conduct screenings, assessments, recovery planning, and make referrals to ensure every individual gets the support they need.
  • Collaboration: Forge strong partnerships with The National Probation Service, Court, and Prison teams.
  • Harm Minimisation: To mitigate substance misuse-related harm, reduce reoffending, and guide individuals transitioning from custody to community treatment providers.
  • Community Well-being: Work to reduce drug and alcohol-related harm not just to our service users, but to the wider community as well.
  • Inclusive Engagement: Foster involvement from carers, service users, and the community, ensuring everyone's voice is heard.
  • Advocate for Change: Support service users in accessing essential partnership services.
  • Empower Lives: Assist in social (re)integration, promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
About you:
