Markel Law in Manchester is recruiting a Partner to lead our Crime & Regulatory practice. You will shape the next chapter of the Manchester offering, drive strategy, and manage a high-performing team within a Fortune 500-backed firm.

You’ll own a varied caseload—from inquests and professional discipline to regulatory enforcement—while expanding client relationships, cross-office collaboration, and business development to build a nationally recognised practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with leadership experience in Crime & Regulatory matters.
• Experience managing insurer relationships or referral-based practice is advantageous.
• Proven ability to develop clients, grow a practice and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Manchester Crime & Regulatory team and drive growth.
• Oversee a varied caseload including inquests, professional discipline and regulatory matters.
