CricViz is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to develop proprietary metrics and predictive models from cricket data. You will transform high-frequency tracking data into production-ready analytical products for professional clients, surfacing match state insights and player performance indicators.

The role demands strong ML and statistics knowledge, cricket domain understanding, and the ability to collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in applying data science methods to real-world problems.
• Strong grounding in ML and statistics.
• Programming proficiency in Python and SQL; PyData stack experience.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop new metrics from cricket data.
• Lead client-specific model development and data sets.
• Productise data science models for production use.
• Oversee model validation and backtesting to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to deploy feeds.
