Job summary

The role is for a numerically adept individual who enjoys cricket and is eager to learn on the job to manage trading strategies across domestic, franchise and international cricket. You will work with mathematicians and software developers to enhance trading systems, with hours that accommodate the global cricket calendar, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong mental calculation and an instinct for the probability of given outcomes.
• Understanding of the sport and the factors that affect the outcome of events.
• Professional/personal experience of value based betting (preferred).
• A degree in a quantitative subject (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Make fast, accurate interpretations of live cricket data, including factual and opinion-based readings.
• Collaborate with mathematicians and software developers to improve trading systems.
• Work variable hours (including evenings, nights, and weekends) in line with the cricket calendar.
