Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Sports Data Scientist to join its hybrid team in London. You will collect, clean, analyze, and interpret complex datasets relating to player performance, game strategy, and fan engagement to enable data-driven decision making.

You will build predictive models, dashboards, and reports, collaborate with coaches and management, and stay abreast of advances in analytics and ML to unlock performance breakthroughs in professional sport.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field.
• Proven track record as a Data Scientist with portfolio of projects.
• Experience with Python or R and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy predictive models for athlete performance.
• Use advanced statistics and ML to extract insights from large datasets.
• Collaborate with coaches, analysts, and management to define data needs.
• Design dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
