Job summary

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust seeks a Band 4 Pharmacy Technician to join the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment (CRHT) team. Based at the Bradgate Unit with community outreach, you will ensure safe medicines management and support urgent care pathways within the MDT.

You must be GPhC-registered, hold a BTEC in Pharmacy Science or equivalent, and be an Accredited Checking Technician. Strong IT, communication, and teamwork are essential; flexible hours and discovery of development

Qualifications

• BTEC in Pharmacy Science or Equivalent and Accredited Checking Technician status.
• Registered with the GPhC and IT literate.
• Good communication, accuracy and proactive team player.
• Willingness to learn and work across community and hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Identify new patients accepted by CRHT and collate accurate medication histories.
• Flag and resolve pharmaceutical issues during care and discharge planning with MDT.
• Act as point of contact for staff regarding medication needs within MDT.
• Liaise with community pharmacies and GPs on electronic prescription issues.
• Manage notification of medication supply issues within CRT.
• Escalate complex clinical queries to the pharmacist.
