Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer (Creo) in Desford, Leicestershire, for a 12-month contract on a world-class OEM project. The role focuses on attachments and work tools for heavy machinery, releasing designs from concept through to production.

You will work with Creo and Teamcenter, contribute to NPI, testing, validation, and liaise with global teams. On-site in Desford with an immediate start.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Design Engineer or Development Engineer background.
• Experience using Creo / Pro-E CAD software.
• Knowledge of Teamcenter or a similar PLM system.
• Product development experience from concept through to release.
• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Development of attachments, buckets, forks and other work tool solutions for heavy equipment applications.
• 3D CAD modelling, detailing and engineering releases using Creo and Teamcenter.
• Supporting prototype builds, testing, validation and New Product Introduction activities.
• Working closely with global engineering teams and multiple internal stakeholders.
