Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate SME loan applications using financial statements, cash flow data and credit history.
• Deliver real-time decisions through a combination of manual review and automated tools.
• Support the design and documentation of underwriting processes tailored for the German market.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to embed credit logic into scalable platforms.
• Ensure all processes align with local regulations and best practices.

What You’ll Bring

• 3–5+ years’ experience in SME or commercial underwriting in Germany.
• Strong understanding of German credit practices and financial review standards.
• High attention to detail with the ability to make informed risk decisions quickly.
• Native German speaker with fluent English communication skills.
• Previous experience in fintech or a fast-paced financial environment is preferred.
