Job summary

Revolut in the United Kingdom is seeking a Credit Manager to design risk policies and oversee underwriting strategies for our retail lending features, validating approaches and coordinating actions to the market and product offering.

You’ll use data‑driven insights to set credit limits, risk-based pricing, and portfolio targets, monitor KPIs, support forecasting, and work with the 2nd/3rd lines of defence and regulators to ensure compliant, scalable growth.

Qualifications

• Experience managing the risk cycle for retail credit products.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/analytical field.
• Solid understanding of credit policy governance frameworks.
• Track record of delivering excellent results.
• Forward-thinking to plan and meet multiple objectives.
• Knowledge of credit and behavioural scoring models.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Value speed to market and balance between problem-solving and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Developing account-level valuation and credit underwriting policies using NPV frameworks.
• Making data-driven decisions with a focus on marginal decisions.
• Managing credit limits, risk-based pricing, retention strategies, and over-limit policies.
• Adjusting risk-return requirements and portfolio returns as new data arrives.
• Supporting the annual budget, forecast, and planning processes from concept to delivery.
• Tracking performance and drawing insights from ongoing initiatives and KPIs.
• Identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing changes within Credit.
• Ensuring approval and good rating from second, third lines, and regulators.
