Zusammenfassung

Pliant is hiring a Credit Risk Manager to own risk assessment for EEA and UK SME and corporate clients. You will manage a book of large exposures, improve standards, documentation and the tech stack, and work with Sales, Legal, Operations, Product, Data and Risk teams.

You will collaborate with our leadership team to ensure sound risk decisions and scalable processes, including AI-enabled improvements, while maintaining strong communication across stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• 3–6 years of operational experience in credit risk assessment for EEA or UK corporate or SME customers from a bank or fintech.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and industry-specific financial analysis. Open banking data exposure is a plus.
• Analytical thinking, detail orientation and ability to quickly understand new problems and systems.

Aufgaben

• Due diligence: assess customers' identity, operations and public/financial profiles.
• Underwriting: analyze financial information, write up risks and mitigants, conclude.
• Credit decision: decide on credit limits within delegated authority to maintain a performing loan book.
• Risk ownership: manage high‑limit customers and monitor risk profiles for risk committee.
• Innovation: design scalable, compliant straight‑through processes and explore AI usage.
• Communication: facilitate factual information flow between teams to support excellent results.
