An innovative and growing financial organisation is looking for a dynamic Credit Risk Manager to join their commercial team and lead the development of smart, data-driven credit strategies that support sustainable lending. Your expertise will directly influence risk policies and help create fairer access to financial solutions for thousands of customers!

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in financial services with a focus on credit risk
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and Excel
• Hands-on experience with credit bureau data and scoring techniques
• Strong communicator who can simplify complex data for broad audiences
• Highly analytical and adaptable in fast-paced environments
• Experience with Salesforce or data visualization tools

The finer elements of the role include:

• Develop and monitor both custom and bureau-based credit scorecards
• Build predictive models (e.g., Probability of Default) to improve credit decisions
• Leverage credit bureau data (e.g., TransUnion, Experian) to enhance segmentation and risk strategies
• Conduct exploratory analysis and data cleaning to ensure data quality
• Lead A/B testing and controlled experiments to evaluate strategy effectiveness
• Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
