This is an established, niche insurer offering this opportunity.

This is a fully remote role, allowing you to work from home every day.

Within 2nd line, you’ll partner with 1st line operations across Claims, Underwriting, and Distribution to support risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.

You’ll oversee and challenge 1st line risk management processes, controls, and decision-making, supporting the enhancement of the company’s risk framework, leading RCSAs, developing risk assessments, and monitoring risk appetite with stakeholders.

You’ll assist in preparing and delivering risk and compliance reports to senior management, Board committees, and regulators.

There is scope to make this role your own, and you’ll be encouraged to challenge the status quo and develop the risk culture.

Ideal candidates will be experienced Risk professionals from the Financial Services sector, with broad risk experience across disciplines. Insurance experience is advantageous but not essential.

You should have experience developing risk assessments, executing RCSAs, and possess an analytical, curious mindset, with excellent communication skills.
