Job summary

Paysafe in London is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to support underwriting and risk assessment for the online payments portfolio. You’ll monitor merchant risk, run periodic reviews and collaborate with risk and commercial teams to protect credit quality.

The role requires 2–3 years in payments risk, strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel. Hybrid working model with office near St Paul’s offers a structured yet flexible environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in the payments industry or online lending.
• Significant experience with financial assessment within credit risk management.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently or in a team.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Quantitative/Qualitative risk assessment of merchant portfolio.
• Periodic and ad hoc reviews to ensure credit quality in line with policy.
• Daily monitoring and actions on alert notifications.
• Collaborate with risk function and commercial units on travel/aviation issues.
• Provide proactive insights to Risk Committee and train junior team members.
