Job Description

Credit Risk Analyst (Clean Energy)

1. Conduct and review credit risk evaluations for contract approvals and ongoing monitoring, using qualitative and quantitative analysis considering country, industry, company, and management risk of counterparties.
2. Ensure timely and periodic credit reviews of contractors to maintain oversight.
3. Assess rating trends of approved and active contractors to identify potential risks.
4. Prepare and present credit risk reports and presentations for discussion and decision-making in relevant forums.

The Successful Applicant

Financial Services sector experience.

Required Knowledge & Skills

1. Extensive experience in credit risk methodologies, management techniques, and financial analysis, including reviewing financial statements.
2. Strong commercial insight to interpret complex contractual and commercial matters related to credit risk, preferably within construction or supply chain environments.
3. Proficiency in financial modelling, scenario planning, stress testing, and financial forecasting is desirable.
4. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to engage diverse audiences, including non-financial stakeholders and senior executives.

Qualifications & Experience

1. A degree in business, finance, mathematics, or a related field.
2. Advanced qualifications such as a Bachelor's, Master's, MBA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
3. 2-5 years of experience in corporate credit risk assessment.
4. Prior exposure to commercial and contractual credit risk mitigation strategies is highly preferred.
