Job summary

Frasers Group Financial Services is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to support reporting and analysis, focusing on governance metrics, data quality and decision-support across the lending business. You will work with Power BI dashboards, complex data sets and stakeholder groups to drive accurate management information.

You will develop technical and analytical skills within a collaborative team, contributing to continuous improvement while meeting regular deadlines in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in governance reporting and dashboards for credit risk or lending functions.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficient in Power BI or similar data visualisation tools.
• Solid communication skills to explain technical results to non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and align department metrics and reporting measures.
• Liaise with metric owners; investigate inconsistencies for accuracy.
• Produce governance reports supporting lending and performance monitoring.
• Update reporting trackers and Power BI dashboards; reconcile data.
• Support governance, controls and continuous improvement of reporting processes.
• Assist with governance packs, templates, meeting materials and action tracking.
• Ensure outputs are complete, accurate and well-documented.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
• Gather information for regular reporting and communicate insights.

This is a great opportunity for a credit risk analyst to support reporting and analysis within credit risk. The role offers the chance to work with data, produce meaningful management information, and support decision-making across the business. You will help maintain and align department metrics, governance reporting, provide reporting support, investigate issues, and contribute to continuous improvement, while developing valuable technical and analytical skills in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and aligning department metrics and measures
• Liaising with metric owners, querying inconsistencies or anomalies to ensure accuracy
• Producing and checking regular governance reporting to support lending, operational and business performance monitoring
• Updating reporting trackers and Power BI dashboards, while checking and reconciling data
• Supporting governance, controls and continuous improvement across reporting processes
• Assisting with governance packs, templates, meeting materials and action tracking
• Supporting reporting controls, records and documentation to ensure outputs are complete and accurate
• Building effective working relationships with stakeholders to understand reporting needs
• Working with teams to gather information for regular reporting
• Helping to maintain effective working relationships across the wider business
• Someone with a passion for delivering results through the effective use and evaluation of data
• SQL experience preferable
• Experience in Power BI, reporting tools and data visualisation advantageous
• Mathematical/statistical background (or other discipline with high analytical content)
• Ability to communicate complex, technical results to a non-technical audience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work
• Curiosity and willingness to learn, investigate trends and solve problems
• Ability to build positive relationships and collaborate with a range of stakeholders
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage regular deadlines
• A proactive and methodical approach to tasks
• Motivation to develop new skills and grow within a reporting and analysis role
