Job summary

Referment is partnering with a London-based fintech to expand its financial analyst team. The role leverages ACA training to analyze financial data extracted by ML systems, with close collaboration to technology and client teams.

Ideal candidates have ACA, IFRS expertise (including IFRS 16), CFA consideration, and strong Excel/data management skills. The position is permanent, full-time, and hybrid in London with some remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial statement analysis and building financial models from scratch.
• Strong Excel skills and data management experience.
• Comfort working with IFRS (including IFRS 16) and US GAAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process financial reports through the proprietary data extraction system to grow the data set across US, Europe and emerging markets.
• Analyse output for accuracy using internal tools and techniques.
• Own your coverage universe and keep data live through earnings season.
• Interact with clients, including leading investment firms, and support sales/account teams.
• Collaborate with engineering to review system performance and suggest improvements to analyst tools and client-facing app.
