Job summary

BlueCrest Capital Management in London is seeking a recently qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant to join our Finance team. The role blends management accounting, financial reporting and operational finance, with opportunities to shape our use of technology and AI.

You will work under supervision initially on financial statements, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations and audit support, then take ownership. A strong Excel base and interest in automation and AI are desirable.

Qualifications

• Recently qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with audit/finance experience.
• Solid grounding in IFRS and/or UK GAAP and financial statements.
• Experience in management accounting, month-end close and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to handle large financial data.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate month-end close and management accounts.
• Prepare entity-level financial statements and reconciliations.
• Support external audits and respond to auditor queries.
• Analyse financial data for projects and governance initiatives.
• Provide cover for accounts payable and automate recurring tasks.
• Assist AI-enabled tools adoption and maintain data controls.
• Improve management information, data quality and process docs.
