About The Role

The Foxtons Property Management and Lettings Support department provides a variety of services for landlords and tenants. One such service is Credit Control and Rent Collection, which ensures that when a landlord has instructed Foxtons to collect rent, we are receiving the funds and querying when they are not paid.

Core responsibilities of the role:

1. Contact tenants at set, regular intervals by any means available (telephone, email, text) who have not paid their rent to determine the issue and obtain payment.
2. Ensure intervals are hit to make sure any court proceedings would be successful.
3. Attend court proceedings when required to provide evidence in cases related to rent arrears.
4. Advise landlords of rent arrears and keep them informed until receipt of payment.
5. Provide landlords with clear explanations of procedures, timings, and available options.

This role also includes up to two days per week working from home (once the initial induction period has passed).

About You

You are not required to have previous property-related experience; however, previous debt collection or credit control experience in any field is essential.

As a Credit Controller, you will have excellent communication skills, a professional telephone manner, and great attention to detail. We are also looking for someone who is enthusiastic and self-motivated.
