Infinity Recruitment Consultancy Limited is seeking an experienced Credit Controller in Huntingdon to join a full-time permanent team. The role runs 8.30am to 5.00pm, currently office-based during probation with potential hybrid work later.

You will chase overdue payments, resolve debtor queries and manage ledger allocations, with duties including daily cheques and ledger balancing. The successful candidate will have a background in credit control, a confident telephone manner, and strong

Qualifications

• Experience chasing customers for payment in a credit control role.
• Confident telephone manner with negotiation skills.
• Experience updating ledgers and reconciling payments.
• Experience banking daily cheque payments.

Responsibilities

• Chase customers for overdue payments by telephone, letter or email.
• Take and resolve debtor queries and allocate payments on the sales ledger.
• Carry out daily banking of cheque payments and balance ledgers.
• Update Excel spreadsheets and support related administration.
