Job summary

Confidential in High Wycombe is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join on a permanent basis. The role offers Hybrid Working (2 days in the office / 3 days at home) and a salary of £30,000 - £32,000 plus benefits.

You will manage a busy ledger, chase overdue payments, provide excellent customer service, and work closely with the finance team. Proficiency in Excel (lookups and reporting) and strong communication skills are essential to succeed in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' credit control experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience handling high volumes of invoices and customer accounts.
• Good Excel skills including lookups and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Chase customers in your portfolio to ensure timely payment.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Resolve customer queries to minimise delays in payment.
• Deliver high level of service while supporting debt collection.
• Manage a high volume of accounts in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist invoicing and account reconciliation with the finance team.
• Produce and analyse reports using Excel to support debt reduction.
• Carry out ad hoc duties to support the Credit Control Manager.
