Job summary

Confidential, a global organisation, is seeking a Credit Controller in Barking, Essex. You will join the credit department, report to the EMEA Credit Manager, and handle a multicurrency ledger across 120+ accounts in a hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH).

This newly created contract role (12–18 months, with a strong chance of permanency) covers credit checks, cash allocation, aged debt reporting, and decisions on accounts for collection or legal action within a busy team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Credit Control department within a large global company.
• Outgoing personality.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good Excel skills; SAP experience advantageous.

Credit Controller

£35,000 - £37,000 + bonus

35 hour week. Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH

This is a newly created role working for a Global organisation. You will report to the EMEA Credit Manager and be part of a well established credit department of 8. Initially a 12-18 month contract but there is a good change it could be made permanent.

Credit Controller Duties

• Managing a multicurrency ledger of 10 million+ across 120+ accounts
• Credit checking and setting of credit limits
• Responsible for making decisions on accounts to be passed to debt collection or legal action
• Cash allocation
• Monthly aged debt reporting
• Chasing debts and investigating and resolving invoice queries
• Reconciling accounts

Requirements

• To have worked in a Credit Control department within a large global company.
• Outgoing personality
• Excellent communication skills
• Good Excel skills and experience of SAP would be advantageous
